Who said that the art of a well crafted, eye catching, big budget car launch was dead? Well whoever it was forgot to tell Hyundai as you can see from the attached video of the 3D projection mapping technique used to promote the eternally fugly Veloster. We have seen this technique preformed successfully a couple other times this year with one of them being the launch of the new 2012 Hyundai Accent. A couple months later Lexus took a kick at the cat and used it to promote the CT200h in honor of earth day.
We still don’t know how the technology works and to be honest with you we don’t care because it just works and works well. In fact we have watched it this video a dozen times already and I’m sure I’ll watch it a dozen more by the time this week is done.
